Christina Betances is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Elms College in 2014 and her graduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2019. Throughout her experience, Christina has always remained open to all modalities of care. She wholeheartedly believes in individualized care, always remembering no two people are the same. After the birth of her first child, facing health struggles of her own, she became motivated to return to school to pursue Functional Medicine and Nutrition. She earned her certificate in 2021. With her experience in conventional medicine, functional medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and herbalism, she is able to draw on and in different approaches when needed.
She considers herself a lifelong student. She realizes the importance of focusing not only on the physical body, but also addressing imbalances within the mind and spirit. She approaches care, across all areas of her life, holistically. She believes in the innate wisdom of the human body and trusts in its capacity and ability to heal.
Christina has two little ones, who keep her hands and heart full. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and any and all things outdoors.
