Sandy Merry is a seasoned and compassionate Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Fitchburg State College and her graduate degree at the University of New Hampshire. She is certified in Family Practice by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has worked in family medicine for 15 years. After a family member became ill with an autoimmune illness and failed to improve with conventional treatment, she became motivated to seek new solutions. She has changed her focus to take on a more holistic approach. She has completed courses through the Institute of Functional Medicine. Sandy’s interests include mental health, autoimmune conditions and tickborne illness. She is certified in Dynamic Neurofeedback. She has found this type of brain training to be helpful promoting healthy sleep habits, mental acuity, focus and performance anxiety amongst other things. Her whole-person approach combines conventional medicine with holistic health practices to improve the patient’s overall mental and physical being.
Sandy is also a busy mom of 3 and on her time off enjoys spending time with her husband and children, gardening, hiking and taking trips to the beach.
